Positive Introduces Xserver Clusters.
2005-07-27, HostMan.biz Comodo's (comodogroup.com) Web hosting automation software division Positive Software (psoft.net) announced on Wednesday that it had introduced H-Sphere Xserver Cluster packages. Each Xserver in the clusters features the H-Sphere hosting control panel installed on Trustix Secure Linux. The packages are available in three cluster sizes. The premier package includes a cluster of seven servers and is targeted at small to medium-sized hosting operations. Each server is built to address hosting requirements, including servers dedicated to control panel, mail, database, DNS and Web server functionality. Free support for the first one to three months is also available. And automated SSL purchasing is built into H-Sphere. "World class hardware, control panel, operating system and we'll help hosts get it running should they run into problems, says Igor Seletskiy, technical director of Positive Software. "Combine this with our highly competitive pricing structure and you have a total clustering solution that is unmatched in the industry." Comodo says the clustering solution reduces the migration of a Web hosting infrastructure down to a simple plug and host" process. Hosts can integrate the clusters in parallel with existing hardware, migrate infrastructures with minimal downtime or introduce the H-Sphere control server at the head of their operation. Hosts can also avoid dealing with multiple vendors, the company says. |
