TicketsNow Picks Equinix Data Center.
2005-07-25, HostMan.biz Data center and Internet exchange operator Equinix (equinix.com) announced on Monday that it will house secondary ticket marketplace provider TicketsNow.com (ticketsnow.com) within its Equinix’s Chicago network-rich data center. TicketsNow will have direct access to a variety of top network providers, offering a diverse selection of connectivity services and providers. It also gives TicketsNow a choice of backup networks in the event of a service interruption to a primary provider. Under the terms of the agreement, TicketsNow will use Equinix Direct - a service that enables buyers of Internet network connectivity to diversify their IP connections to numerous network providers. "As customer loyalty is a critical element of our business, this agreement with Equinix represents our commitment to providing unmatched quality service to our customers," says Gene Golden, vice president of IT at TicketsNow.
