Netfirms Launches Web Hosting Giveaway.
2005-07-11, HostMan.biz Web hosting provider Netfirms (netfirms.ca) said on Monday that it would give away 25,000 free Web sites to Canadian businesses in July and August, a move the company says is designed to help small businesses get online. Netfirms's giveaway includes a free domain name and the Netfirms Advantage Business Website Bundle hosting package. Customers will receive three free months of Web hosting. The Netfirms Advantage plan comes with email, e-commerce capabilities, a free CD with design software, Web site publishing tools and a Google Adwords coupon. "Web site ownership has never been more important for small businesses and is now considered an essential tool for success," says Thomas Savundra, president of Netfirms. "Now businesses experience first hand, and risk-free, just how easy and affordable it can be to launch a business-enhancing Web site." |
