Newtek Joins Russell Microcap Index.

Newtek Business Services (newtekbusinessservices.com), the parent company of Web host CrystalTech (crystaltech.com), announced on Wednesday that it has joined the new Russell Microcap Index after Russell Investment Group reconstituted its family of US indexes last week. The final membership list will be announced by July 1, 2005.
The Russell Microcap Index is comprised of the smallest 1,000 securities in the small-cap Russell 2000 Index plus the next 1,000 companies, according to the rankings of all US equities by market capitalization. The new offering enables managers and other investors to objectively compare their performance against an authentic microcap marketplace of stocks.
