Web Host Hosting.com Enhances Security.
2005-06-22, HostMan.biz Web hosting provider Hosting.com (hosting.com) said on Tuesday it is now offering enhanced protection and security features for the managed hosting of its customer's email and Web-based assets. After implementing Spamhaus email protection services and sender policy framework email authentication protocol, Hosting.com says it can better secure, support, serve and protect its dedicated and colocated servers. Hosting.com's security features include Intellimail, a virus scanning and spam filtering solution that blocks unwanted, malicious and offensive email from being delivered to customer's inboxes. Junk email is detected by Hosting.com and sent to a customer's personal, Web-based, password-protected Message Center where they can handpick what messages they want deleted or kept. Spamhaus is an international non-profit organization that offers real-time anti-spam protection for Internet networks and Domain Name System based blocking lists. The company's tools enable spam to be rejected early in email transactions, before it burdens servers, disks and mail queues. |
