Domain registrar EnCirca (encirca.com) announced on Sunday that the new .jobs domain extension had been officially launched in San Diego at the Annual Meeting of the Society for Human Resource Management.
EnCirca is the ICANN-accredited registrar for .jobs and SHRM, Employ Media is the registry operator. Registration for the domain began at 2:30 p.m. PST on Sunday, June 19, 2005.
