Equinix Picks Opsware IDC Solution.

Data center automation software developer Opsware (opsware.com) announced on Thursday that Equinix (equinix.com) had chosen the Opsware Network Automation System to manage its US-based Internet Business Exchange centers.
Opsware says its software will enable Equinix to simplify management of its infrastructure, improve network availability, enforce compliance and ensure network security.
"Opsware NAS will be an important element in ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction with our exchange services," says Jay Adelson, founder and CTO of Equinix. "Using Opsware to automate change and configuration management across our exchange services infrastructure will lower our operational costs and continue to ensure our leading service quality."
