MCI Introduces E-Bonding Services .
2005-06-15, HostMan.biz Internet service and Web hosting provider MCI (mci.com) announced on Tuesday that it had introduced E-Bonding services for its enterprise customers, enabling them to streamline their operations and realize efficiencies through automation and by directly linking to MCI's back-end infrastructure. The new capabilities complement MCI's online customer portal, the MCI Customer Center, where customers can perform a range of self-management functions, such as ordering new services and monitoring networking and hosting operations. MCI is offering several e-bonding applications, including trouble management, circuit testing, order status and inventory reporting. MCI says it will be able to more efficiently conduct business with its customers through the service, while customers will enjoy cost reduction through automation of manual processes, leading to faster more accurate resolution of network management. Customers also acquire greater visibility and better insight into their network topology and circuit inventory. "MCI is focused on helping customers make the most of their service experience," says Nancy Gofus, senior vice president of product management at MCI. "Whether they choose to rely on the personal touch of an account team or do business with us online, our new E-Bonding services make it easier for customers to command and control their communications environment, expedite service delivery and enhance service quality through automation." |
