MCI Rolls Out VoIP in Europe.
2005-06-14, HostMan.biz Internet service and Web hosting provider MCI (mci.com) announced on Monday that it had introduced business voice over IP services in the UK through MCI Advantage, with launches in France, Germany and the Netherlands coming later this year. MCI Advantage is a portfolio of IP-based services that combines voice, multimedia and data across a single IP link, enabling customers to converge their telephony, data exchange and messaging applications on a single network infrastructure. The service includes voice over IP and hosted IP telephony. "MCI Advantage IP Integrated Access allows customers to evolve to a converged networking solution whilst reducing expenses," says Roberta Mackintosh, senior director of product management, pricing and analysis for MCI in Europe. "With MCI Advantage we are able to provide a portfolio of services that meet the evolving voice and data needs of our customers." MCI says MCI Advantage makes it easier for customers to migrate towards a fully converged voice and data solution. |
