VeriSign (verisign.com) and Global Crossing (globalcrossing.com) announced on Monday that they had established a partnership to offer managed security services under the Global Crossing brand. The companies say the combined offerings will enhance reliability and performance for their customers.
Global Crossing's managed security service offerings include monitoring and management of firewall and intrusion detection systems on a 24-hour basis. In the coming months, the company plans to roll out managed vulnerability alerts, incident response and forensics, phishing responses, email security and consulting.
