NetNation Expands to New Texas IDC.
2005-06-07, HostMan.biz Canadian Web and managed hosting provider NetNation (netnation.com), a subsidiary of Hostway (hostway.com), announced on Tuesday that it had expanded into a new data center in Austin, Texas. The company says the move will allow NetNation to provide its US customers with significantly low ping times from coast to coast and to Central and South America. The new 60,000 square foot data center is monitored 24 hours by building security, while an engineering response team is available on-hand. The facility has multiple and redundant direct OC-12 (622Mbit/s) links that scale to OC-48 (2.5 Gbit/s) to the backbone hubs. "Providing our customers the fastest service possible is our top priority," says Dale Bunten, dedicated product manager for NetNation. "Expanding our facilities into a technology hub such as Austin allows us to do that and meet the overwhelming demand we've experienced in the Managed Hosting sector over the past two years." |
