Hubwest Buys Web Host Cyberboards.com.
2005-06-01, HostMan.biz According to reports, Internet service provider Hubwest (www.hubwest.com) had acquired Web hosting provider Cyberboards.com for an undisclosed amount. Cyberboards, owned by Curtis Plagge of Albuquerque, New Mexico, had been in operation for eight years and had 400 to 500 customers, the report said. Adam Peherson, principal for Hubwest, said the deal was a great opportunity because the acquired hosting customers could be upsold on its Internet access services. Peherson and Plagge had known each other for two years as Cyberboards.com colocated a server with Hubwest. |
