Web Host Stargate Adds New VPS Hosting.
2005-05-25, HostMan.biz Web hosting provider Stargate (stargate.com) said on Tuesday it had updated its services with new virtual private servers run by Swsoft's Virtuozzo and Plesk 7.5. The company is now offering a wide selection of plans, all featuring the disk space, memory and control panels for users to start their own hosting companies and store data or applications. Stargate says its VPS performs and executes exactly like a dedicated server. Stargate VPS can be rebooted independently, has its own root access, users, IP addresses and applications. Accounts can be controlled directly through the Virtuozzo Power Panel or Plesk Control Panel. "We are very excited about VPS," says Don Welbourn, vice president of business development at Stargate. "Our customers will now have the benefit of coupling VPS along with Stargate's premium domain name registration services to build upon the success of their Web sites." |
