LogicWorks Deploys LivePerson Chat.

Sales and marketing communications provider LivePerson (liveperson.com) said earlier this week that managed Web host LogicWorks (logicworks.net) had deployed its Timpani Chat system to improve its customer service and sales processes.
LivePerson's Timpani enables LogicWorks to connect online customers with a live salesperson. Using the technology, sales staff can retrieve in real time, information about the customers such as their URL or whether they have visited the site before. The company says LogicWorks has been able to communicate with customers faster, increasing sales and shortening the sales cycle.
"Potential customers come to our site knowing exactly what they want, and require specific, highly technical information," says Gregg Kitaeff, vice president of sales at Logicworks. "LivePerson is a fantastic tool that allows us to put customers in touch with our account executives much more quickly, while adding a level of human interactivity that closes sales with increased speed and efficiency. Our typical sales cycle is measured in months. Using Timpani we have closed deals in days."
