Web Host dotCanada Buys AffordableHOST. 2005-04-21, HostMan.biz Web hosting provider dotCanada.com (dotcanada.com) announced this week that it had acquired the customers and assets of Michigan-based Web host AffordableHOST (affordablehost.com). Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. AffordableHost hosts more than 9,000 Web sites and operates a 1,700 square-foot data center facility. With the acquisition, dotCanada.com is now home to over 20,000 sites. Richard Madison, president of dotCanada.com, says the acquisition improves the company's international operation. Prior to the acquisition, the company has served the Canadian market exclusively.
