Web Host FastServers Deploys Helm.
2005-04-20, HostMan.biz Dedicated Web hosting provider FastServers.Net (fastservers.net) announced on Tuesday that it would offer the Helm (helm.webhostautomation.com) control panel on its Windows-based dedicated servers. The control panel will be offered to dedicated hosting and colocation customers at a monthly fee. FastServers says Helm will help server administrators easily provision new services, reduce setup times, and offer Windows-based hosting on either a single- or multi-server solution. "Two of the deciding factors for going with Helm was the increase in customers demand and the need for a multi-server solution," says Aaron Phillips, vice president of FastServers. "With built in features such as email, billing, ASP, .Net, Cold Fusion and Microsoft SQL Support, it was a natural fit into our environment allowing customers who outgrow single server solutions to get into a scalable server hosting platform." Helm is the flagship product of software developer WebHost Automation (webhostautomation.com). |
