Dominion Picks Web Host Fusepoint.

IT services and managed Web and application hosting provider Fusepoint Managed Services (fusepoint.com) announced on Wednesday that it would implement and support disaster recovery services for Dominion Bond Rating Service.
Fusepoint will host DBRS's applications out of its Toronto-based data center facility and operate a second mirrored site to ensure redundancy and continuity.
"If our site were to go down, wed basically be cut off from the world. And in the financial sector, down time is not only unacceptable, it is fatal from both a business and reputation management point of view," says Mike Burns, managing director of systems for DBRS. "Outsourcing allows us to focus on the strategic elements of our business. In the event of a disaster, our public face will always be available."
