CinemaNow Picks Nine Systems.

Nine Systems Corporation (ninesystems.com), a content delivery network operator and streaming media provider, announced on Tuesday that it would manage and deliver CinemaNow's (cinemanow.com) library of digital movie, television and high-definition content. CinemaNow is a provider of authorized downloading and streaming of feature films via the Internet.
CinemaNow will employ Nine Systems' Stream OS, rich media management and delivery tools, storage solutions and network infrastructure. Nine Systems says it will help CinemaNow improve the quality of service for high-definition content and reduce its operational costs through streamlined content management and reporting capabilities.
