Web Host NetMart Hits 10 Years.

Florida based Web hosting provider NetMart.com (netmart.com) announced on Monday it is celebrating 10 years in business next month.
The small company started with $1000 of capital. Initially comprised of a trio of recently graduated university students, NetMart.com formed on December 1, 1994 by connecting an ISDN modem to a desktop computer in the basement office of a parent’s home.
"When you think about it, it was a really crazy idea to try and run this out of a basement office with no money to speak of," says founding partner Norman Goldberg. "To us it was a shot in the dark. We had no money, and built the business on simple word of mouth. Within three months we were turning a profit, and 10 years later we haven’t missed a beat. We have had a profit every month since."
