Gray Hawk Systems Moves Into Hosting.
2005-03-21, HostMan.biz Internet and network services provider Gray Hawk Systems has inked a five-year, $3.7 million contract with the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to host and manage their Web site MoneyFactory.com. Gray Hawk Systems will be taking care of the agency's Web hosting and applications management. Robert Scherer, deputy associate director for information technology for the Bureau of Engraving and Printing said in reports that the site will be both an information and e-commerce site. Although the company has run Web sites for government agencies prior to working with the bureau, this will mark the first time Gray Hawk has ventured into the Web hosting industry. Gray Hawk, a specialist in developing IT services and solutions for national security, reportedly generated $74 million of revenue in 2004, working with clients such as the Defense and Homeland Security departments. |
