Red Hat Appoints Senior Marketing VP.

Open source software developer Red Hat Inc. (redhat.com) announced on Tuesday that it had appointed Timothy Yeaton its senior vice president of marketing.
Yeaton joins Red Hat from Avaki Corporation where he held the positions of president and CEO. He has over 20 years of management experience at companies such as Macromedia and Compaq. At Red Hat, Yeaton will head up worldwide marketing functions including partner, product and programs marketing and communications.
