CaseCentral Moves Hosting to 365 Main.
2005-03-09, HostMan.biz Electronic discovery and litigation management solutions provider CaseCentral announced on Tuesday that it has signed a lease with data center 365 Main (365Main.com), and relocated its primary data center to the facility. CaseCentral's data management infrastructure includes the 365 Main facility, offsite disk-to-disk backup at a secondary data center, and periodic tape backups stored at a third offsite location. 365 Main says it was designed and engineered for businesses with critical data, ensuring that it will withstand "a once-in-a 1,000 year earthquake" per the 1997 Uniform Building Code. Its Essential Facility status guarantees that it will maintain its operations during and after a major earthquake, while allowing tenants on-site without the required city inspection of non-essential structures. The facility is also SAS 70 certified and received the 2002 Award for Best Seismic Retrofit. All of these factors figured into the CaseCentral decision to move its central data center to the 365 Main facilities. "We took great care and time in evaluating local data centers and found 365 Main’s location and technological capabilities superior to the others we evaluated," says Nasser Mirzai, director of IT for CaseCentral. "Its geographical location and infrastructure will ensure superior network performance and will allow us to provide our clients with the quality, speed and dependability they have come to expect from CaseCentral." |
