DoubleClick Adds to Equinix Hosting.
2005-03-08, HostMan.biz Network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services provider Equinix, Inc. (equinix.com) and marketing solutions provider DoubleClick Inc. (doubleclick.com), announced on Monday that DoubleClick will increase the company's IT infrastructure deployments at Equinix Internet Business Exchange centers. DoubleClick says its solid network connectivity infrastructure supports the delivery of a variety of solutions, including online advertising, search engine marketing, affiliate marketing, email marketing, database marketing, data management and marketing resource management. The company also requires a platform for the rapid and reliable exchange of data between the company's 22 offices around the globe. Under the agreement terms, DoubleClick will expand operations to additional Equinix IBX centers, connecting directly to a critical mass of various Internet companies, including all of the top carriers, networks and ISPs. DoubleClick will use Equinix GigE Exchange, which provides an efficient central switching fabric to create links between the aggregation of companies operating in Equinix's centers. "After a strong relationship over the past two years, Equinix has become a strategic partner in DoubleClick's day-to-day operations," says Greg Tagaris, VP of operations for DoubleClick. "Equinix provides a high-performance platform with a unique aggregation of the networks that we rely upon to support the delivery of our services to customers, along with an exceptional level of customer support." |
