Compulogic Releases PicoServ.
2005-03-03, HostMan.biz Compulogic (compulogic.info) announced this week the release of PicoServ, a Web server module that can be embedded into a variety of systems, enabling them to be remotely controlled and accessed via the Web. According to Compulogic, PicoServ acts as an Internet co-processor designed to provide a browser-based interface in a small space, at low power, at low cost and with minimal design effort. The module, the company says, features a fully integrated 10baseT Ethernet interface and takes care of all network interfacing and communications protocols, Web page storage and provides a variety of simple interfaces to the host system or equipment. Dynamic Web pages are supported through an HTML interface, enabling real time data to be displayed and updated from a standard Web browser. The PicoServ system, Compulogic says, also includes an SMS gateway, which extends monitoring and control of equipment or systems connected to PicoServ to any GSM mobile phone using text messaging. |
