Incognito Software Offers New Products.
2005-03-01, HostMan.biz Incognito Software (incognito.com) announced at the CableLabs Winter Conference on Monday that it had launched its Broadband Command Center 5.1 and Address Commander 3.5 products. Address Commander 3.5 is an IP address management solution that reduces overall IP administrations costs, while automating address space assignment, utilization, and reporting requirements, says Patricia Steadman, CEO of Incognito Software. Features of Address Commander include both automated and manual "best-fit" IP address selection, up-to-the-moment utilization information, reporting to Internet registries such as ARIN, real-time, color-coded IP network maps - down to the subnet or IP level, the ability to link an IP, subnet or group of subnets to a customer, corporate division, administrator or other entity, a full auditing and diagnostic toolkit and an extensive set of Java and CORBA APIs for back-office integration. Broadband Command Center 5.1 is a voice over IP and high-speed data provisioning suite for broadband service providers available both as a hardware appliance or software only. The solution, Incognito says, combines DHCP, DNS, TFTP and voice provisioning solutions in a single integrated package to ensure rapid and continuous rollout of voice, video and high-speed data services, including secure PacketCable and IP-TV. "Broadband Command Center delivers a rapid return by increasing the total volume of subscribers capable of being added to a broadband network, lowering operational costs, and expanding the opportunity to offer new IP-based services – including voice over IP, PacketCable, and digital video on demand," says Patricia Steadman, CEO of Incognito Software. |
