Equinix Extends Ticketmaster Hosting.

Network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services Equinix, Inc. (equinix.com) announced on Wednesday that it has expanded its agreement with Ticketmaster, placing additional operations for the ticketing agency at Equinix's Chicago Internet Business Exchange center.
Equinix says the expanded agreement will enable Ticketmaster to operate in a centralized hub near a critical mass of network service providers and other companies operating within the IBX, creating a smoother path from content o end users.
"After a thorough review of existing data center and network exchange solutions, along with our experience over the past year at Equinix," says Alan Waldman, VP of operations for Ticketmaster. "We have found that Equinix centers help support our objectives by offering a highly reliable environment for online operations."
