LexisNexis Hosting Reed Smith.
2005-02-09, HostMan.biz Law firm Reed Smith announced on Monday that it has selected LexisNexis (lexisnexis.com), a provider of legal news, information and business solutions, to provide colocation and business continuity services for its entire network. It's for this very reason that we chose to place our data network with industry-leader LexisNexis, whose experience and reliability in data security can deliver the ultimate value to our clients," says Gary Sokulski, chief operating officer at Reed Smith. "This agreement between our companies helps ensure that Reed Smith is not only there for our clients when they need us, but that we also can deliver the data and information they need simply and securely." LexisNexis will host Reed Smith out of its data center facility in Dayton, Ohio. Data replication and storage is located off-site. Today, we meet a wider range of information needs - beyond legal research - with flexible data storage, data protection, and systems-hosting programs for law practices," says Allan McLaughlin, senior vice president and chief technology officer at LexisNexis.
