Vitalstream Extends Flash Video Streaming.
2005-02-08, HostMan.biz Content delivery network and streaming media provider VitalStream Inc. (vitalstream.com) announced on Tuesday that it has seen a substantial growth and adoption of its services for Flash video streaming. Companies such as ABC News, Comcast, National Geographic, Target Stores and CNET all employ VitalStream's services to deliver communications to audiences around the globe. "As an early partner with Macromedia in delivering the Flash Video Streaming Service, VitalStream leads the way in guiding many customers through their first Flash video deployments with their innovative software and services," says Chris Hock, director of product management for Macromedia." While rival streaming service providers are currently developing their first generation products for Flash, VitalStream is already at work on its third generation console due out in the first half of 2005. The third-generation platform will include many new features. |
