Globix Launches Asset Management Tool.
2005-02-04, HostMan.biz Web hosting and application management service provider Globix Corporation (globix.com) announced earlier this week that it has introduced Digital Exchange, an on-demand digital asset management service platform. Digital Exchange, Globix says, enables customers to manage, archive, categorize, centralize and distribute digital assets, including video, audio, graphics and images. The solution comes with software and access to Globix's high-speed network, media hosting and distribution services, consulting, ongoing maintenance and twenty-four hour technical support. Using Digital Exchange, businesses can avoid the burdens of large capital expenditures and long project implementation cycles, Globix said. "As businesses continue to evolve and leverage the Internet to enhance the way they do business, managing their respective intellectual capital and rich media digital assets has become increasingly important," says Pete Stevenson, CEO of Globix Corporation.
