Data center and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com) announced on Wednesday that it has expanded its Raleigh data center to facilitate the company's growth in the Research Triangle region and provide additional redundancy options for Peak 10's customers across the globe.
In an effort to meet the growing demands of its customers, Peak 10 is expanding its Raleigh data center by more than 60 percent. The facility currently features multiple levels of security, uninterruptible power supplies, diesel generators, redundant HVAC systems, and fire suppression, as well as round-the-clock monitoring and management.
"We have great affinity for the Research Triangle market and have always placed high expectations on our operations in the region," says David Jones, president and CEO of Peak 10. "The expansion of our Raleigh data center is in line with the growth targets we set two years ago and is a direct result of high end customer growth and demand for managed services including disaster recovery, managed storage and security."
