Broadband service provider Blue Wireless & Data Inc. (bluewirelessdata.com ) announced on Monday it has acquired Dallas-based colocation data center Canton Technology Center, LLC. Canton Technology Center provides carrier-neutral access to tier 1 broadband Internet services.
"With the addition of Canton Tech Center, Blue Wireless will realize the benefits of increased control over the Company's bandwidth utilization, lowered cost of Internet service, and the ability to provide enhanced services," says John Mills, Blue Wireless & Data COO. "The resulting arrangement will enable us to more efficiently provide quality service to our new customers we have brought on through our recent acquisitions."
Blue Wireless & Data says it will be looking to acquire additional businesses to complement its current wireless broadband Internet network system and boost its customer base. It currently delivers high-speed wireless Internet access to residential customers and small to medium-sized businesses, as well as high-speed land-based bandwidth for enterprise-level solutions.
