Macminicolo Hosting New Mac Machines.

Internet service provider Underwriters Technologies announced on Tuesday that it had launched Macminicolo.net (macminicolo.net), a high-speed colocation service for the new Mac mini computer from Apple.
The company says the computers are mounted in custom racks with multiple high-speed connections to the Internet. Underwriters Technologies says it has been maintaining colocated Macs since the company was launched. All the infrastructure used in the Macminicolo.net project was built for other projects, such as the company's Pure Static hosting brand.
"The Mac mini has more than enough power to handle the Web needs of 80% of the businesses in the world " said Jay Menna President of Underwriters Technologies. "The low price and small footprint brings it into direct competition with virtual private servers and blade servers: none of which are available to the Macintosh community. We believe the mini has created yet another new market niche for the Mac."
