MFX Buys Atlantic Mutual Data Center.
2005-01-14, HostMan.biz Internet service provider MFX Roanoke Inc. (mfx.net) announced on Thursday that it had acquired a data center facility belonging to Atlantic Mutual in Roanoke, Virginia. According to the arrangement, MFX will provide Atlantic Mutual with on-site data center processing services from the new facility. Atlantic Mutual will maintain its technology and customer service center in the city. MFX will immediately begin offering data center services, including mainframe outsourcing and server hosting, along with migration and disaster recovery services. "From the start of negotiations, the relationship between our companies was a match," says Raymond Roy, chairman and CEO of MFX. "MFX will use our technical and insurance experience to improve both operating and bottom line results for Atlantic Mutual. We look forward to a long and mutually rewarding future together." |
