SunGard Acquires Inflow.

SunGard Availability Services, an operating group of SunGard (sungard.com), recently announced that it has closed the acquisition of Inflow, Inc., a Denver-based provider of data center facilities and information technology outsourcing solutions.
According to the company, the acquisition of Inflow enhances its infrastructure and service delivery capabilities. SunGard will add 14 datacenters throughout the U.S. that geographically complement its existing 23 U.S. datacenters. It will now serve more than 10,000 customers and have available over 3.5 million square feet of data center space predominantly in North America and Europe.
"SunGard Availability Services' acquisition of Inflow provides customers of both companies a comprehensive range of information availability services from a single provider," said Jim Simmons, group chief executive officer of SunGard Availability Services. "It is our mission to provide our customers access to their important business functions according to their need – always on, within minutes, or hours depending on the criticality of their systems."
